The Photographer

Phipps Photo is the business of photographer Greg Phipps. He likes things simple, clean, and different. He draws energy from meeting new people and considers it an honor to capture people's memories. Best known for his quirky/fun, laid-back, and easy-going demeanor, Greg's clients often say "that was much more fun than I thought it would be!". He has photographed weddings across America from North Carolina to Hawaii, and loves to travel! He is also a full-time dad and husband.

Find Your Fit

"Finding the right photographer for your wedding can be tough.  Price and quality are only part of the equation. Find someone who’s a right fit for you. Even if it's not me! By finding a right fit for you, you'll be more comfortable and have more fun, which results in better pictures!

Please don't just hire someone because they're "cheap". You really do get what you pay for. And if you let aunt Cindy do your wedding (because she has a nice camera, you know), then you're going to get photos that look like aunt Cindy did them. I hear horror stories all the time from brides who did this and were sorry for it.

Philosophy

"I shoot weddings because they're fun and exciting. I get to be at a party every weekend where people are excited and happy and enjoying themselves. Love is in the air. I also like watching people make out. Just kidding. But I do cry at almost all my weddings because I not only give a rip about my clients, but I think the coming together of two people is a beautiful thing."
