Hayden Olivia Boutique: Meet + Greet

Throughout the last few months I've been meeting with some of the wedding vendors in my area that I'm impressed with.  Yesterday I had the privilege of getting to meet Heather Batt at Hayden Olivia Bridal in Charlotte, NC. I had heard about Hayden Olivia through various wedding blogs I follow and I love to meet new vendors that have a similar passion for providing top notch services to their couples like I do.

First off I have to say the boutique is really well put together. It's a classy place with beautiful hardwood floors and superior spaces for brides to view the couture gowns and accessories. They have huge fitting rooms with enormous mirrors and their own alterations room. They offer lots of options for brides - from custom viels and shoes to bridal gowns to mother's wedding attire. All the bridal gowns are hand-made by top designers in the field such as Christo, Kenneth Pool, and Jenny Packham. They even have the Vivienne Westwood gown from the Sex in the City movie in their boutique.

Since I honestly know little about gowns (I'm a photographer, I just capture their beauty!), Heather was gracious enough to give me a nice primer in what's "in" right now and showed me all the beautiful gowns they have on hand. To top the experience off, Heather is one of those genuinely cool people who was really helpful and easy to talk to. I'm hoping to get to cross paths with her again soon whether it be through one of her events or through some mutual bride acquaintances.
